
Jars of festive, translucent skeletons, anyone? Japanese artist Iori Tomita dissolves the flesh of piranha, seashores and turtles and injects colorful dye into their bones. He lends a learned hand to fishermen in exchange for the marine creatures, destined to be “New World Transparent Specimens”. They will be on display at the “Tokyo Mineral Show” in 2011.
