NYC_urban_search_rescue_task_force Knowing a thing or two about combing through rubble, the New York City Urban Search and Rescue Task Force is headed to Haiti to help assist in the emergency effort. The group of 80 or so highly trained first responders from the NYPD and NYFD are leaving Brooklyn today and expect to reach the island nation by this afternoon with search equipment and K-9 units. |WCBS|
