Geraldine Doyle was a seventeen-year-old riveter in a Detroit WWII-time factory. She only learned about her “Rosie” legacy in the ’80s, but now she’s dead at 86, leaving behind a We Can Do It! legacy of posters, merchandise, motivated females and countless internet doppelgangers.
