Shaq-curated “Size DOES Matter” opens Friday at FLAG Art Foundation, featuring Run Mueck’s “Untitled (Big Man),” Willard Wigan’s microscopic O’Neal portrait, and at least one appearance by the giant himself. Talk about celebrity stature.

Really enjoyed the article about Shaq and his hosting an art opening. I'm a high school art teacher here in Oklahoma who does work as a sports artist. I've been complimented by Adrian Peterson, OU's Sam Bradford, Kevin Durant, and more. My students enjoy watching me work along with them so they can see my works come to life first hand. They enjoyed the article that someone like Shaq has an interest in the arts. I was a mere walkon during my stay at OU but all the athletes loved watching me work in the athletic dorms. If Shaq is ever around the quiet city of Sapulpa Oklahoma and wants to see some impressive sports art, I'm easy to find.
*Great article and very much enjoyed reading it! I like seeing athletes taking an interest in the fine arts.
Sincerely,
