The Pixadores have struck again. After successfully leaving their mark on Sao Paulo’s Biennial exhibit, the wildly independent taggers recently bombed a mural the Brazilian city commissioned that featured the likes of otherwise respected graffiti artists such as OS GEMEOS, NUNCA, NINA, and others.
They also wrote: “R$ 200,000 in makeup, and the city is in calamity,” a reference to the money reportedly paid by city the city of Sao Paulo to fund the public art (That converts to around $111,000.00 USD.).
