California’s medical weed trade is booming and whether or not Prop 19 passes, the entire state is basically flooded with amazing chronic. As more dispensaries start to spring up, branding is what will ultimately differentiate them and there’s a place in San Francisco that is already taking things to the next level. Welcome to Spark (San Francisco Patient and Resource Center).
The minimalist, highly designed space doesn’t sport any Dancing Bears, peace signs or any of the other familiar trappings that populate most of the city’s low brow weed shops. The owners went with a boutique-y look to not only stand out from the others, but “to elevate the product and give it the proper milieu.” Mission accomplished. |Tmagazine|

i saw some of their ads in the sf weekly. i'mma give it a shot, but the green cross is hard to beat. here's why:
- their 1/8ths are 3.75 grams
- $40 an 1/8th.
- they deliver for free (strict no tipping policy)
- non-profit, non-thug, and the people are very pleasant to deal with.
then there's the vapor room:
- free vaporizers to use in their lounge (volcanoes and bongs)
- you don't even have to buy their shit in order to use it
- free massages and yoga classes
fuck this new boutique shit — they managed to take compassion, the very essence of this cause, out of the equation. fuck them — they can be the next estee lauder booth; i don't give a fuck. marijuana users are more in-tuned to the earth (and its inhabitants) than that.
