As the city continues to roast during a lingering heat wave and July gets set to be the hottest month ever, it’s a good thing the New York Times is around to offer the following tip for staying cool: “[T]here has been a daily refuge from the stinging heat, a temperate haven offering more reliable relief than the makeshift armor of wet washcloths and linen pants: the hour between 5 and 6 a.m.”

I'm so glad that what is supposedly the "newspaper of record" has such innovative advice for its affluent Boomer readers. Wanna stay cool during the hottest month ever? Just make sure you only go outside from 5AM to 6AM, because that's when it's less hot outside. No wonder newspapers are dying out.
