Today we learned that New York City’s fast paced, traffic weaving bike messengers will be the subject of a new “docu-reality” on the Travel Channel. Premium Rush stunt double and bike messenger Austin Horse tells us he is consulting for the show which took a very “egalitarian” approach to choosing couriers, so don’t expect to see the usual suspects or any dumb White Rapper-style competitions. This one sounds like it could be interesting. How do you shoot footage of a messenger on a bike winding through traffic in New York? I'd hate to be that cameraman!
funny I just saw them shooting at Cranksgiving and they really had it covered. And they even asked if I would like to offer some of my gopro footage of me and my brother. Wild! There was from what I saw over 20 folks shooting for the series. Looks for real…this time.
