20100129__egyptian and banksy go~p2 While officials in Park City and Salt Lake were quick to buff Banksy’s promotional artwork at Sundance, private property owners were trying to preserve it and in the case of the Egyptian Theater, remove it for safekeeping.

According to the Park Record, officials at the not-for-profit theater could use the money and the stenciled door is now “in storage at an undisclosed location.” They’re considering putting it up for auction and think it could fetch over $100,000.
