Last month, six artists on a Tarkovsky kick explored the Zone with a yet mysterious motive. See the photos from Plan C by Tod Seelie of Eva and Franco Mattes of 0100101110101101.org crawling around the radioactive remains of Chernobyl. Gas mask mountains, a sprouted post-Apocalypse and gorgeous peeling rot await.

Plan C link doesn't work
Should work now.
In any case, http://www.planc.cc/
Amazing photos of a terrible event. And the Plan C link is working now and it's great!
This subject was exhausted long ago. Plus it appears to be a much less successful project than Robert Polidori's "Zones of Exclusion."

"Zones of Exclusions" is lovely! Guilaume Herbaut's post-Chernobyl essay for Oeil Public is even lovelier. http://bit.ly/98H8BK You can't "exhaust" Chernobyl. It's a place, not a subject. And none of us know what Plan C is yet.
01.org + Seelie = dream team.
Marina, have you heard about Jacob Kierkegaard's 4 Rooms sound art project? Pretty creepy stuff when you listen to it.

Wow. Amazing. Thank you!
