I’m not not sure why the New York Times or Gothamist calls these NYC couriers who appeared on Judge Judy as “hipster bike messengers,” but since they’re relatively young, have tattoos, and a fixed gear bike is involved, it must have been too hard to resist.
To me, they look like anyone who has ever worked for Trackstar. Anyway, poor Judge Judy. She is pretty ignorant about the high costs of bikes, although I’m still trying to figure out how this De Bernardi is considered custom or worth $3500.

Bucky, all fixed-gear bikes are worth tons of money, and tons more if the seller is selling because he's in the process of moving. Dude, this shouldn't come as a surprise to you because I know you read Bike Snob…
aw. these boys have been running this scheme for a minute. Judy pays all settlement, court fees and travel expenses. That de bernardi is tucked safely home in bed, no worries.
You can see them on Judge Pirro with a better story (more gay sex) here:

cr, are you kidding?
not all fixed gears are worth a ton of money (although, like anything, some are). but a De Bernardi probably is NOT custom, and even it if it was, $3,500 is a lot, even with high-end parts. sounds to melike Bucky does know what he's talking about.
big_al does not read bike snob/craigslist/understand sarcasm.
