Mike Weiss Gallery‘s group show “Reflexive Self” has a dead body wrapped in plastic, drawn entirely with Crayola crayons by the Dead Dads Club and Marc Seguin’s defaced Hitler portraits in oils and human ashes, just to spite the Furor’s dislike of abstract art.
The self-referencing works also include Kim Dorland’s graffiti trees, Kris Knight’s rural bohemians and Stefanie Gutheil’s surrealist party monsters of Miami. Preview some works below and stop by.
