Erratic CNN Lady Knocks at Artist’s Camera Head Implant

Artist Wafaa Bilal has surgically implanted a camera into this head. Now watch this excited CNN  journalist jostle it around: “Am I hurting you?”

And there it is: The much hyped apparatus that will be transmitting a photo per minute from the back of the Iraqi artist’s head to a museum in Qatar via 3rdi starting Dec 15.

Bilal’s body piercer surgically installed a rounded dock for a heftier-than-expected camera that’s connected by a wire to a laptop that Bilal must tote around. A lens cap will be placed on the camera when he’s teaching photography at NYU.

The project will “establish a dialogue about surveillance.” According to CNN, this is an “off beat” topic.
