Forbes put out their annual depressive list of people with more money than some small countries, and once again, we have a new winner/person to despise: Carlos Slim Helu. The Mexican mogul is worth an estimated $53.5 billion (up $18.5 billion from last year), surpassing Bill Gates who is still living comfortably with $53 billion (up $13 billion from last year). Poor Warren Buffet had to suffer the indignity of third place with a fortune of only $47 billion.
