The Teletubby battle is a horror missed by history books, but Oswald Cromheecke’s grandfather saw it. Well, he did. The Belgian art student’s work is dark, funny and as mysterious as a giant duck, towering suddenly above your shrimping boat. See more work below.

There’s a nonchalant Yeti, partying priests, a mosh pit of politicians, and a “big candy factory around the corner” where his “uncles work. Their task is to stabbing sticks into lollipops. It’s one of the highest positions in the company.”

Lately, Oswald Cromheecke has been obsessing with Antarctica, in illustration and animation. (See also: a music video with evil intruders and something worse.)
