According to one soon to be deposed leader, yes! Discounting 42 years of absolute rule, Muammar Gaddafi’s voice went on state TV to explain the real reasons for the unrest: Osama bin Laden and drugs. It’s all part of al Qaeda’s plan to get the people of Libya high. “They give them pills at night, they put hallucinatory pills in their drinks, their milk, their coffee, their Nescafe,” said Gaddafi.
