Likely responding to an ultimatum that may have been issued from hacktivists at Anonymous, the putrid devotees of Westboro Baptish Church, the terribly radical Christian group that pickets the funerals of dead soldiers with nonsensically intolerable signs, say they’re not afraid of the group. And so they issued a media advisory against them.

Despite the bold fonts and fanatical lunacy, it’s not nearly as entertaining as the warning posted to AnonNews.org that’s credited with setting this epic battle off:

Cease & desist your protest campaign in the year 2011, return to your homes in Kansas, & close your public Web sites. Should you ignore this warning, you will meet with the vicious retaliatory arm of ANONYMOUS: We will target your public Websites, and the propaganda & detestable doctrine that you promote will be eradicated; the damage incurred will be irreversible, and neither your institution nor your congregation will ever be able to fully recover.

Amen! It also would be a funny way for Anonymous to Robin Hood some public support, cause even Joe and Jane America will rally around some law breaking and vandalism if it’s targeting Westboro.
