i don't understand the concept?
it's monday, and i might be a little slow, but what am i missing here? i read the previous entry but still don't understand what the graf has to do with it.
I think its just because the real shelter is bombed up, so its just to match… I think.
respect to COPE. but this is fucking stupid.
what does this have to do with israel?
in israel the bomb shelters usually have graffiti on them…in addition its a way to beautify a shelter which is a product of hate/terrororism
Artist for Israel is a group- some from Israel- whose art is done with the spirit of and with Israel in mind- and they also do art shows- some in Israel- some are graffiti artists- the bomb shelter is another art work example which goes to prove graffiti is now mainstream- be sure to recognize the fact that this piece was permitted by the parks department- and *this is done under the watchful eye of NYU- that ever expanding huge corporate complex that has been one of the main driving forces of gentrification on the LES. This piece looks good. At least it is art and not just some corporate crap.
