The Oily Land is fresh piece of performance/video art from Portuguese street artist ± MaisMenos. It features a rabid, war-related mash-up and a gent dressed in black, Medieval crusader attire painting a wall with a roll extensor.

“It’s a metaphor regarding the wars we wage for oil – the new crusades – the crudesades!” he says. Well, chortle chortle. That haughty strutting, posing and wielding of the archaic-looking instrument is very authentic, bravo!
