Here’s What Shut Down Times Square Today
You can never be too careful in knee-jerk America where something is trying to kill you around every corner, so when a “suspicious package” was found at the “Crossroads of the World” earlier this evening, overreaction was the only option. The NYPD sealed off the entire area to traffic until they realized it was just a crappy piece of luggage with no bombs or contents inside for that matter.
Perhaps the city’s ‘If You See Something Say Something’ campaign is too effective or debilitatingly safe is just our new way of life? Anyway, the other lesson learned is don’t ask for permission when taking photos of said luggage, cause the cops wearing white shirts aren’t so familiar with the law either.

It was probably an “artist.”
I was there, and it was super obnoxious. The idiot who left it there should have to reimburse me for the bandaids I bought to cover the blisters that were formed walking all the way around the goddamn blockage.
Someone looking for their stuff to be stolen!! XD
