REVS and COST Decoys by Invader

French street artist/mosaic menace Invader recreated an iconic photo of REVS and COST for his solo show in La Générale, Paris. The sale of the artwork will benefit the production a new documentary about the two NYC graffiti legends.

The exhibition features the artist’s latest — rubric homages to Ingres, Courbet and da Vinci. Filling the electric plant turned art center with tile and Invader-shaped disco ball refractions, the exhibition’s stand out pieces include a wall of pixel-arty album covers and a special edition “Space Waffle” maker. “INVADER 1000,” Jun 6 – Jul 2, La Générale, Paris (Photo: Shoes-Up)
