Lady Snaps Photos in Male Restroom, Claims “Public Space”

Rhonda Hollander, 47, was busted after she followed a man into a restroom, hid in a stall while he was “getting ready to urinate” and busted out snapping photos with her cellphone. After he called the cops, she bit the arresting officer and wouldn’t give up the cellphone because “it was a public restroom and she wasn’t violating any laws.” The kicker? She’s a traffic court judge in Florida. Read more »

To the Graff Mobile, Let’s Go

An art collective out of Melbourne, Australia recently rolled out its latest creation: the Graff Mobile. It was designed by the folks at Everfresh Studio and the vehicle comes stocked with all sorts of tools that could come in handy for vandals like spray paint, bolt cutters, a ski mask, boom box, and most importantly, a keg, among other accoutrements. Nigeria Uses Funny Words To Describe Thugs

According to the Nigerian Tribune, “12 street urchins were arrested” recently for “smoking India hemp.” Street urchins is the word they use for “area boys” and India hemp is their term for pot. But they weren’t the only ones causing trouble. Over 200 “miscreants” were also busted last week in a 3AM raid, many of whom weren’t from the area and reportedly “came to the state to seek greener pasture.” Considering how fucked up things are in Lagos, I can’t even imagine how bad conditions in their hometowns are.

Artist to Haul an Ice Block From Greenland to Manhattan

Artist Brian Goggin is planning to hand-extract a 100,000-year-old, rare, blue basal ice chunk from Greenland, transport it on a sled tugged by huskies and install it in Manhattan for the next 488 years: “The image is of a post-fuel interaction not using motors or any heavy carbon-producing systems – a stupendous human effort.” Read more »

Crime Pays for Whitey Bulger

Shocker: Infamous Irish mobster and alleged serial killer, Whitey Bulger, stands to make millions by selling his story. Unlike a handful of other states, it’s perfectly legal for convicts to earn money from their crimes in Massachusetts and the Boston Herald says people who collect ghoulish shit would also be interested in buying his “hair, nail clippings, autograph and artwork.” But that doesn’t appear to be as lucrative. A quick search of GhoulsLikeUs.com, shows Charle Manson’s hair selling for only $99. Cheap!

Nate Hills Makes New New Animals in Chinatown

We’ve accompanied NYC performance artist/provocateur Nate Hill on one of his Chinatown Garbage Taxidermy Tours before and, trust us, the rotting fish aroma soaking into your shoes from bloody puddles as you trollop along the alleys ways, garbage-diving for feathered fauna, frogs and fish heads to saw together… is worth it. Seems like Hill’s back on the streets. Here are his latest bloodily puckering canvases of his restaurant waste taxidermy. Requests?

Anti-Drug Ads Double As Drug-Promoting Ads

The Partnership for a Drug-Free New Jersey rolled out some funky new, retro-style ads on the PATH train that are more likely to entice kids into experimenting with heroin than dismay them. After all, unlike the crappy dope in the 70s, this new shit has way less impurities. Read more »
