French Brand Attempts Viral Video For Fall Fashion

If high fashion is all about uniqueness and if advertising is all about carefully crafted “randomness,” then Lanvin has concocted the perfect ad campaign for their 2011 Fall line.
Set to Pitbull’s annoying hit from last summer “I Know You Want Me,” the video shows a bunch of white people dancing in really fancy clothes. Watch for the smirking old guy who steals the show at the video’s end.

You missed the funniest thing about this video. An eagle-eyed commenter elsewhere noticed that the dance moves in the video are identical to the ones that the Xbox 360 Kinect Dance Central game has you do for this song: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=trRfmy4DOg8
So instead of shooting a concept video, they literally just dressed up models, had them play a video game and filmed it.
The man at the end is not just a "smirking old guy". That's the creative director of Lanvin, Albert Elbaz.
