Did a Rookie Move Lead To Weed Arrest?
According to the NYPD: YES! Cops claim Denroy Morgan, a former reggae artist that never really had any memorable hits, allegedly blew a stop sign in the Bronx and that’s when they pulled him over. He also wasn’t wearing his seatbelt, but that was the least of his worries.
It was the pungent odor of pot emanating from the car that really proved troublesome. After some questioning, officers found 25 pounds in the trunk and then somehow, were able to initiate an investigation that led them to a house and the seizure of over 300 pounds of really bad dirt weed.
