Titillating Free Speech Display Revisits Times Square, Yet Again!

Tireless First Amendment crusader and NYPD irritant Andy Golub took to his old tricks once again in Times Square last night, painting up three completely nude women with his signature gradients and swirls in front of a gawking crowd. The cops were on the scene, but unlike last time, no hasty arrests were made.

The cops told ANIMAL that this is a bit of “a gray area.” Though they didn’t seem too sure in the laws protecting public nudity with an artistic purpose, they weren’t about to start hauling painted naked people off the street again.

Previously, spunky model Zoe West went full frontal for a Times Square session with Golub. She was arrested, taken to the police precinct nude and later released without any charges, telling ANIMAL that “It was completely worth it.”

In July, Andy Golub was arrested and charged with public lewdness. When he goes to court in October, he will be represented by famed constitutional attorney Ronald Kuby. Hopefully, this will settle this roller coaster of selective persecution. (Photos: ANIMALNewYork)UPDATE: Now with video:
