New York Times Reviews Toilet for the Rich

Stating that “it is possible to get acclimated to such luxury” the New York Times did an in-depth profile of Kohler’s latest toilet, the Numi, which should be making it into 1% of fancy homes soon enough. The luxury crapper boasts an iPod-esque remote with sensors that open and close the lid upon one’s arrival, reminding the rich, that even when it comes to the act of shitting, they don’t roll like the rest of us.

Mayor Bloomberg Briefly Occupies ‘Wall Street’

Mayor Michael Bloomberg just swooped into the Occupy Wall Street encampment at Zuccotti Park. The multi-billionaire and quintessential symbol of the one percent protesters are demonstrating against, reportedly went on a Kanye West-style tour, meaning he didn’t stay long and probably felt really out of place for the few minutes he was there.
