DOJ Now Going After Weed Friendly Banks Too

First they targeted the landlords of medical weed dispensaries and now the Department of Justice is going after the banks that service them. A Chase branch in Northern California with holdings that include a building rented to the Marin Alliance for Medical Marijuana, received a letter from U.S. Attorney Melinda Hagg warning the bank that the government can swoop in and take their assets. Italian photographer Fulvio Bonavia and L’Uomo Vogue editor Giovanna Battaglia have joined forces on this latest food-based piece for Garage magazine, where they translate the work of four legendary fashion houses into potentially edible masterpieces. As planned, Marni Kotak gave birth at Brooklyn’s Microscope Gallery yesterday in front of a birthing team and an exclusive live audience of those who stopped by earlier to court her with chats on “motherhood, birth and art” and thus established “an authentic relationship” with the artist and hence were invited to see her pop out her art piece, Baby X. Don King and His Hair Just Occupied Zuccotti Park

All sorts of celebrities have stopped by Zuccotti Park to see the Occupy Wall Street movement and we’re not exactly sure where a former boxing promoter fits in, but here is Don King, the man Mike Tyson once called a “wretched, slimy, reptilian motherfucker.” He said it was his first time here. “It’s Americana to me,” said King about the protests.
