Rudy Giuliani Is Face of Nuclear Deception Campaign

Back in August, the operators of the Indian Power hired Rudy Giuliani as a spokesman to ~~lie about~~ vouch for the nuclear plant’s safety and starting next week, he will appear in a series of ads.

Entergy hopes the former mayor—whom many New Yorkers detest—will be able to help deflect the negative criticism the public has of the nuclear plant, while it attempts to renew its operating licenses.

However, in lieu of the highly publicized meltdown in Japan and this facility’s frightfully close proximity to NYC, many people don’t think it’s a good idea to have a potential ticking time bomb only 25 miles away, including Governor Cuomo. (Photo: Hope Abrams/flickr)
