Antidote Magazine Pays Homage to Madonna
For their current shoe issue, Antidote magazine is paying homage to Madonna and one of her most infamous personal projects, the erotically-charged SEX book. I remember back when I was a kid my mom had carelessly hidden it between a stack of sheets in the laundry room where I’d peer over it wide-eyed every time she wasn’t around – quite a stimulating read! The magazine’s version shot by Giampaolo Sgura and starring French model Constance Jablonski doesn’t feature bikers giving oral, gymnasium rape fantasies, or interracial threesomes, but there’s definitely a good bit of studs, laced up leather, and smutty latex involved. Madge would be proud…

Shane Hope is pioneering the artistic applications of emerging molecular nanotechnologies. His lenticular, holographic-like 3D prints (Post-Scarcity Percept-Pus Portraiture) is made with cutting-edge open-source tools, layering tens of thousands of molecular models into a big, dayglo mess. He’s also has made an open-hardware printer that prints polylactic acid parts of “child” printers. It’s called a Foglet-Fabber-Fidel, Percept-Pus-Pandora, Qubit-Quacker-Quinn and Borganic-Blobjecthoodlum-Beulah.
