Purple Television have just put out their second video with SLUTEVER, the same ladies that previously brought you Tit Prints, though this time we’re given a slightly more in-depth look at what they’re all about. It’s unfortunately not embeddable, but the clip features a cutely care-free Karley Sciortino laying naked in the tub as she talks about her adventures in golden showers, the ego arousal that comes with being a dominatrix, and even what kind of panties Hasid ‘sissies’ wear. Every time Brooklyn artist Tom Otterness lands a big public art commission — like adorning a NYPL in Battery Park with his cutesy, rotund figurines – that bit about him shooting a shelter dog on film comes up. After complaints from the San Francisco Animal Commission, the Arts Commission is meeting to decide whether to revoke Otterness’ entire $1.4 million contract with the city. Read more »
Last night, just after 3:00AM, as swarms of cops in riot gear made their final push from all sides into the center of Liberty Plaza, ripping up tents and tossing-around protesters, I was hunkered down with about 50 hardcore OWS folks who were making a last-ditch stand by sitting in a tight formation to establish a human barricade. Liberty Plaza, the site of the Occupy Wall Street movement, is currently under siege. The NYPD is sweeping the park of protesters and making it very difficult for the press to document arrests anything. On Thursday at 3:30PM, things got really strange in Bay Ridge. That’s when a middled-aged woman who reminds me of the lady in the shower scene of The Shining started stripped her clothes off on 3rd Avenue near 80th Street and started yelling at people according to the witness that took video and photos, but asked to remain anonymous.
