So, About That L Train Beat Down Video
In case you haven’t seen it, here’s video of three cowardly thugs group-beating a young man on the L train because he told them they shouldn’t spit in the subway car.
It first appeared on World Star Hiphop, naturally, as this is just the type of footage they relish. One of the young women who filmed the clip can be heard namedropping the website as she and her friends erupt in laughter. CBS News reports that the NYPD is actively looking for the three assailants. Godspeed.

Im tired of these stupid wanna be thugs running around the city doing stuff like this and people shouting WORLDSTAR…Q from worldstar should be happy that people motivate to film violence so they can post it on that stupid ass site…I used to like it when it would give u the inside vids from the hip hop world, but now its all violence and thug wanna bes…We wonder why these kids are all screwed up..Look what they idolize…What's gonna happen if they catch em…a night in central?? big deal…what they need is a good old fashioned ass whooping…Was it me or was one of the kids like 9 years old….disturbing…..

Wow seriously this disgusts me and people disgust me. I saw a dude on the D train getting taunted by some shithead teens the other day and he seriously just asked them "Can you just leave me alone." And one of the shithead teens got up and punched him in the face and then sat back down with his friends. God so much trash in this city.
I hope and pray that these kids get caught and that they suffer in jail like their victum suffered on that train….and that they be banned from ever riding the train again to make an example that we as a society are sick and tired of this kind of bullshit and if you want to abuse the subway system and their rider's then you shouldn't be allowed to ride the subway.
Technically, the guy on the receiving end committed the first battery when he pushed the face of the other guy. At that point, all bets were off.
That aside, I love how the one guy HAD to take his shirt off before the fight. Awesome.

the victim probably became one because he wasnt minding his own business. unless you are batman or something, or an extremely good fighter, telling a group of kids to stop spitting in the train just isnt worth the risk of having them beat the everliving shit out of you and ruining your day/night/week and possibly your life if said beatdown were severe enough. not saying he deserved it. just saying it couldve been avoided, its hard to feel sorry for him in this situation.
youre not going to stop kids from fighting, you arent going to stop them from being angry or wanting to prove themselves to their peers. cant just walk around with blinders on pretending that because violence isnt _your_ solution, that it doesnt exist or isnt someone elses solution.

Bernie I couldnt agree more, you dont do a guy on the ground man unless you basically have the intent to put him under it. The bigger issue is, why cant these dudes ever fight their own fight? actually, he has every right to put hands on the dude because the guy come across the train and got in his face and was spitting on him. His bigger mistake was not putting a harder right hand in his face. But if you watch it wasn't shirtless wonder boy who hit him, it was his punk ass buddy who blind sided the kid first.

Wonderful story, reckoned we could mix a few unrelated data, however really worth taking a look, whoa did one learn about Mid Eastern has got much more problerms as well.
i saw this w/o audio (don't want to freak out mom on thanksgiving), but here goes:
1) yes, it's fucked up. but yes that dude touched the guy first. he knew right then and there that there was no way he was going to avoid a physical fight. why not throw the first punch?
2) a lot of you commentators are very right and logical, but i'm sure most of you guys aren't "hood" or "street." i'm from there and though i'm white-collared now, i still abide by a lot of the those rules and violence (not hate) still resides in me.
3) i'm by no means tough but in that situation, if i knew shit was going to go down, i would just go after the easiest target and fuck up only one person (if i knew i wouldn't be able to take down all of them), and just get on top of that one target and just wail on him. if those guys are going to fuck me up they're going to fuck me up, but i'll be on top getting my shots in. leave them with a souvenir.
4) of course they're going to jump in. this isn't a fight that's personal beef. this isn't one-on-one.
with that said, i would've definitely been shitting bricks, and that guy handled it the best way possible, but he knew what he was getting himself into. i hate that ignorant shit as much as anyone else, but with unemployment and gentrification and with internet making everyone want to exhibit themselves and institutionalized racism and all this and that, there's always going to be many things this act can be attributed to.
and frankly, violence always works. we're all animals
