The ‘Dark Knight’ (Up)rising on Wall Street

Security was tight on Wall Street as choruses of loud shouts echoed through the air and angry mobs clashed with police. No this wasn’t an Occupied Wall Street march, it was the filming of en epic battle scene for the new Batman movie, The Dark Knight Rises. I managed to slip through their checkpoints twice and snap some photos.

The first time was through a parking garage on the corner of Exchange Place and Hanover Street, the other via the revolving door at 60 Wall Street. Check out the tattered American flags, platoon of actors, the Batmobile (there was actually two three on set), and lots of fake snow. (Photos: ANIMALNewYork)
