One never knows what might happen when two seemingly delirious and rather similar-looking models are placed in a hotel room together, but I can assure you that skimming through the TV menu and room service binge fests aren’t on the agenda. Instead, the tousle-haired duo in this third issue of LOVECAT have some kind of erotic face-off, complete with pistol and and letter-opener, a recurring trend in the magazines editorials. The spinning cubical Alamo sculpture at Astor Place has been cozily wrapped by Caltech minions. While not as festive as Olek’s, this intervention got me giddy: The California Institute of Technology has a storied history of pranks. The hope was that this is some sort of a Trojan Horse in an epic nerdy rivalry battle or perchance, a sciency riddle challenge, an academic “sword in the stone” if you will.
