Here’s what Liberty Plaza looks like from the past few hours, quite a different scene compared to last night’s chaos. Basically, in an ironic twist, it’s the NYPD (and private Brookfield security guards) who are corralled inside the barricades. Actually, they’re lined up on Broadway and Liberty Street too, but it is odd seeing the plaza so empty and illuminated (someone turned the power back on).
Protesters are still facing off with cops on Liberty Street and everyone seems to be on edge, waiting to hear which way the court is going to rule. Also, poor “Double Check.” Looks like he’s in jail. (Photos: ANIMALNewYork)

Wow. It looks so much better now.
Perhaps when the park is re-occupied, it can be a little more organized, clean and professional.
It got so damn freaky in there the last month or so it looked like day 3 of Woodstock (minus all the mud)
OWS is in serious need of some branding efforts. The whole operation needs to be buttoned up, but maybe that's just the graphic designer in me speaking.
branding efforts? young people protested in downtown NYC and it turned into a worldwide movement.
I'm talking visually.
