Following up on their very popular High Society drug culture exhibit, London’s Wellcome Gallery would like to educate you about “the filthy and the fetid” – Dirt. They’ve got 200 artifacts, art made of shit and “intestinal excreta from a 19th-century cholera victim.” Yey?

From London’s 1854 trashy cholera outbreak to Staten Island’s Fresh Kills landfill awaiting reincarnation, the exhibit looks back at dirt’s role in history, art and science. Clearly not for germaphobes.  “Dirt: The Filthy Reality of Everyday Life,” Mar 24 – Aug 31, Wellcome Collection, London
