See this plastinated camel, head sliced three ways for optimal innards gawking and preserved brood in tow at the German Cologne Zoo’s exhibit of anatomist Gunther von Hagens’ exhibit of Koerperwelten der Tiere or Animal Body Worlds. They’ve got lions, and tigers, and bears. Oh my churning stomach! Also, elephants and reindeer.

Still, unless you’re Morrissey (ahem, ahem), you have to agree this is far less disturbing than the Bodies Exhibit with their displays of shadily procured, unfortunate Chinese black market cadavers. (Photos: AP)
