Transportation Nation is crowdsourcing a Google map of all the locations where its readers and WNYC listeners have been ticketed by the NYPD for bike-related offenses. So far, its taken on the form of an interesting minefield of pedantic enforcement from failure to use hand signals, lack of a reflector, and not using the bike lane, which isn’t even a traffic violation, but was cited anyway. That should fare well in this upcoming class action lawsuit.
