The first color photograph exhibition for experimental filmmaker Chris Marker features 200 photos snapped of passengers on the Paris Métro and “digitally enhanced” (read: Photoshopped)… by someone born in 1921. They’re quite filmic and maybe just a tad over-filtered. Highlight: An affectionate part of the series focuses on pairing female faces and gestures with those of classical paintings.
