Hollywod stalwart Roger Corman, the B-movie king who produced 300+ loads of terrible crap really quick and jump-started the careers of Paul W.S. Anderson, Eli Roth, Martin Scorsese, Jack Nicholson, Robert DeNiro, etc. etc. etc., gets the docu treatment with Alex Stapleton’s “Corman’s World: Exploits of A Hollywood Rebel.”
Conflicting. Sure, we should pay tribute to the man who shunned the Hollywood system and caroused through decades of his prolific, independent, pulpy-fun filmmaking… Then again, he did unleash the original Fast and Furious on the world, and its star, grown Ron Howard.
