NAMEHollywod stalwart Roger Corman, the B-movie king who produced 300+ loads of terrible crap really quick and jump-started the careers of Paul W.S. Anderson, Eli Roth, Martin Scorsese, Jack Nicholson, Robert DeNiro, etc. etc. etc., gets the docu treatment with Alex Stapleton’s “Corman’s World: Exploits of A Hollywood Rebel.”

Conflicting. Sure, we should pay tribute to the man who shunned the Hollywood system and caroused through decades of his prolific, independent, pulpy-fun filmmaking… Then again, he did unleash the original Fast and Furious on the world, and its star, grown Ron Howard. Still, there’s this. Oh bless you, Roger.

The doc opens for a limited theatrical release on Dec 16.
