A company that operates a small chain of restaurants is pulling billboards that make reference to the 1978 Jonestown Massacre, whereby over 900 Americans committed suicide by drinking a deadly powdered cocktail. “We’re like a cult with better kool-aid; To die for,” read the ads for Hacienda and La Senorita Mexican restaurants that offended some people in bumblefuck Indiana and Michigan, where mass deaths by cyanide apparently aren’t funny.
