If you enjoyed Helen Pynor’s poetic photographs of sick, strung up organs, you’ll like her series Liquid Ground, inspired by thousands of cases of accidental drownings in the River Thames. Currently on view at the GV Art Gallery in London, the photos show sheer white garments floating underwater as their guts and hearts spill out. They’re very pretty for something so gory in concept. “Breath,” Helen Pynor, May 5 – Jul 2, GV Art, London
