These “drowning roses” were photographed in a 7000 gallon custom made tank. The Dutch Masters influenced series is all in-camera, no post editing — digital or analog — because photographer Alexander James is a crafty purist. He’s also “untrained and unsullied by achedemicism” (in other words, “Screw art school!”) yet, he rigged the lighting just so. Impressive.
