Dedicated to Italian filmmaker and poet Pier Paolo Pasolini, Berlinde De Bruyckere’s new sculptures appear as gutted bodies of gray flesh and twisted, root-like limbs. There are echoes of P.P.P.’s Salò and his violent death in these shapes. The living carcasses are now on view at Hauser & Wirth. Berlinde De Bruyckere, “Into One-Another To P.P.P.,” Mar 1 – Apr 23, Hauser & Wirth, NYC
