Watch as a middle-aged lady who should be minding her own business mouths off to another woman on the subway for eating spaghetti, asking: “What kind of animals eat on the train like that?” You can probably guess where this is going. NYCtheBlog found the YouTube video that has all the ingredients for an altercation and yes, a face full of pasta.

People eating on the subway IS of course very annoying; but you are right Bucky, this lady should have kept her mouth shut – free country and all.
Her poor husband.
Sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do, and everybody gotta eat. Fuck the haters.
Why didn't they just offer to share the spaghetti?
This reminds me of the 'Sunny' episode where Charlie takes his spaghetti everywhere.
I watched this twice. The older woman was deliberately trying to provoke a fight, with her snide comment said with a smirk . The young lady should not have been eating a complete dinner on the train. A snack is okay, I think. Just do not litter – take your debris with you! I noticed that the older woman struck the first blow and she was deliberately trying to cause an altercation….as witnessed by her remark 'I advise you to stay out of my face". The older woman stood up as she said this – so she *was* trying to start a fight . As I saw it, the girls were getting off at the next stop and the nutty old gal kept it up. I guess she wanted to prove the point that 'these people are animals' . But she made it obvious that she was the one who was the 'out of control' animal by arguing with kids1/3 of her age. Word to the wise deary – you were caught on a candid camera and you looked like a stupid idiot.
You know, you can have a criticism of someone but if you can say it with kindness there will be a different effect. The girl eating the spaghetti was messy and shouldn't have been eating on the train. But, I bet she was a nice girl, just rough around the edges. The older woman being wiser could have thought of something clever to say that would have made her think about the faux pas of eating on a subway. Instead, she had to say something mean and hateful. I don't think it would have gone the way it did if she had thought before she spoke. I have been on the train with people doing all kinds of things i find gross. Including 'wolfing down' food from containers. It happend last week, it was a young black guy. I just left the car. It could have been a young guy of any race..I would have just left the car. These girls were much younger. I feel that the older woman had a LOT of pent up animosity. Sometimes urban kids are a little rough, but they grow up and the rough edges are lost. I have seen rough Italians, Irish, Hispanics, Jews, Blacks, and other ethnicities in the city (on the subway) who have been a bit rough. All the hatred and vitriol is self-loathing projected towards another.
That'd never happen on the D.C. Metro…

Yeah, but you can't take the DC Metro 24/7. I'd take the rats over that any day.
Yeah, DC Metro is so porly run, the subway might just be dirty…but it works
It's worse when the ghetto people blast there music on the cellphone like everyone wants to hear, i'd rather them eat then that.
Before you criticize "ghetto people," be sure your grammar is correct. It's than that not "then that."
you missed THEIR music.
How can you waste food like that when so many people are homeless!
Should have saved that and let the old woman be foolish. She was instigating a fight, but it's all in how we react to situations.
She did not need to call her an animal. That is by all means inappropriate. The older are not always the wiser. More often they are the more bitter.
