Mayor Bloomberg gave a weird speech at MIT earlier this week. He discussed how he never even considered carrying a gun in college, because he smoked so much weed, which comes as no surprise, but it’s the following comment that seems the strangest: “I have my own army in the NYPD, which is the seventh-biggest army in the world.”
Well, that would explain his treatment of Occupy Wall Street protesters. A spokesman for the mayor said “he was speaking a bit euphemistically.”
