When he was running for governor against that madman with the bat, Andrew Cuomo said he didn’t support the legalization of medical weed because the “dangers … outweigh the benefits,” thoroughly enraging me.
But that was before he was elected, because somehow pot, even for medicinal reasons, is political kryptonite. Now that he’s in office and nicely tanned, Cuomo seems to be changing his tune. When asked about the issue at a recent press conference, he had this to say:
We’re looking at both sides of the issue if you will and we’re reviewing it, but we don’t have a final position.
Makes sense. If shitheads like Governor Chris Christie from New Jersey are signing off on it, how can New York not follow suit?
