imageIt’s about time to jump on this Art Thoughtz with Hennessey Youngman bandwagon. In his latest installment, the guru explains the practice of Relational Aesthetics, i.e. how socially awkward MFAs socialize and famous busy artists get away without creating physical art.

Also, participating in Relational Aesthetics art with “strangers in some kind of convivial happening in antiseptic confines of an art instutition” is just like “getting drunk in a bar, having a one night stand and contracting herpes.” Kind of.

Sure, I can disagree and disagree, but I do wish this guy would have taught some of my college courses.
