Hoping to educate people about their de dacto power to nullify unjust laws—specifically drug charges—when serving as jurors even if a defendant is way guilty, artist and author Ricardo Cortes presents his latest work in the form of a free manual: Jury Independence Illustrated.
Like his previous book, It’s Just a Plant or even his latest buzzworthy collabo, Go the F*ck to Sleep, Cortes does a good job taking issues and explaining them as if he’s talking to a child, which most American adults are nowadays. He also makes a convincing argument for why not to ignore those jury duty notices anymore.
