Kanye’s spastic neon titles in the Hype Williams-directed video for ‘All of the Lights’ are identical to those in the first two minutes of Gaspar Noé’s Tokyo junkie epic Enter the Void. Comparatively (below), Ye’s are a bit simpler and spell out all that “fast cars and shooting stars” nonsense.
Titles kick in after a minute of some non sequitur of a little girl. They will hurt your eyes. Then RiRi (who ripped off David La Chapelle earlier this year) will come to console you with her vampiness. Here’s Kanye…
…ripping off Noé’s titles…
…which were a homage to Godard doing what Godard has done for decades (still does). An homage… on drugs.
Can’t call Hype and Ye anything but biters (they even threw some Japanese lettering in there), but at least it’s a beneficial rip off. Noé’s not exactly mainstream and could use the attention.

"good artist copy, great artist steal" – pp
has happened before will happen again….yawn.
Yep, and in this case it's a straight copy.
To steal something is to make it your own.
You need to understand the quote.
only difference is that noe went to the source after no one had thought about nutballing it for over 45 years. kanye is a poseur.
It made my day to see someone exposing the blatant ripoff! It isn't necessarily Kanye that did it, but someone in the production team should have been more honest..
Dear Kanye,
Goddar, Noe, ABC wild world of Sports, basically anyone with talent. Would like to inform you to stop stealing other peoples ideas. If you really like the work then ask the original designers to create it.
Sincerely,
Actual artists.
P.S.Same goes for Rhianna, Beyonce, Nicki.
