
On Wednesday, after the march and before the skirmishes with police, I spotted Michael Moore walking through Zuccotti Park and so I asked him two questions, one of which I flubbed terribly. However, he still seemed to understand and answered.
1st question: What did you think of today’s march?
2nd question: Do you think that the unions are a good rebranding movement for this time? (What I meant to ask, was if he thinks the unions are a good rebranding at this time for the movement.) His response:
No, no. Everyone is welcome and they’re one group. This is a big tent. Nobody co-opts this movement. It belongs to the people.
